Dunellen Knights of Columbus Donate $10,000 to Ailing Children

The Knights of Columbus Wednesday presented checks in the amount of $3,000 each to representatives of Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick, the Middlesex County ARC and Piscataway Regional Day School; and a check for $1,000 to Buddy Walk of South Plainfield during a gathering at the Knights of Columbus headquarters on Grove Street.

"In prior years, each organization presented informative and compelling media explanations of themselves," explained John Buico, campaign chair for the Knights. "It is an opportunity to learn about three local "stewardship' charities, what they do, and how they help," Buico continued.

During the gathering, representatives of the hospital or charity explained their work and how the donation would be spent, he added.
